Is The End of Roe vs. Wade In Sight?
Thirty-five years after Roe vs. Wade, John Ensor is hopeful that the end abortion as a business is in sight.
The end of abortion as a business is in sight when the prolife movement is not only joined by, but led by, the African-American and Latino Christian Community. I call it the Third Wave.
If Republicans win the White House and hold the Senate in the election this fall, then there will be reason to be optimistic about the possibility of ending abortion in our nation. But if the Democrats win both of the above, it may be a long time before we again have such a window of opportunity to end abortion on demand. Possibly the biggest issue in the 2008 election: the nomination and appointment of Supreme Court Justices.
